Forbidden Sea

One night, Adrianne wakes up to find her sister, Cecily, missing. When she checks the beach, her sister is laying there unconscious. Adrianne rushes to her and is attacked by some strange creature. It wounds her wrist, beginning a strange chain of events. The creature attacks other times in addition. But soon it's clear the creature doesn't want Cecily. What is the creature? Why is it attacking Adrianne? And why did a fortune teller gasp at the marks on her wrist?
